Contemplative Spirituality
    There is a rhythm in contemplative spirituality that involves -
    Noticing (the initial sense of God's presence),
    Attending (the intentional act of staying with that presence),
    Reflecting (meditation on the meaning of that presence in one's life),
    Responding (moving out in love from that presence).
Spiritual Formation Practice, (Discipline) i.e. -
    Telling & retelling the Gospel story to one another, interpreting scripture; prayer;
    confession &forgiveness; tolerating one another's failures and encouraging one another
    in their vocation and call; acts of service & witness; suffering with one another; hospitality;
    listening attentively; struggling together for understanding; standing up against structures
    that destroy, dehumanize, corrode community or injure the planet; working together to sustain social structures that sustain life.

Contemplative prayer (lectio divina, centering prayer) and meditation; retreat
    (both wilderness and urban),; spiritual direction and spiritual friendship; silence, simplicity and solitude...
    and balancing that community life and responsibility;
    mindfulness and the practicing of the presence of God;
    the art of discernment, both in private and group context; Sabbath practice ;
    Taize; journaling; sacramental living; spiritual reading; dream work;
    sanctifying time; slowing down; livelihood as spiritual practice;
    marriage as sacrament and spiritual practice, and hospitality.
